Abstract
A wireless device receives one or more configuration parameters indicating a first beam detection set including a first reference signal and a second beam detection set including a second reference signal. The first reference signal overlaps in at least one symbol with the second reference signal. The wireless device measures, for beam failure and in response to the first beam detection set being different from the second beam detection set, both the first reference signal and the second reference signal.
Claims20
A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:
- receive one or more configuration parameters indicating:
- a first beam detection set comprising a first reference signal;
- and
- a second beam detection set comprising a second reference signal, wherein the first reference signal overlaps in at least one symbol with the second reference signal;
- and measure, for beam failure and in response to the first reference signal and the second reference signal being from two different beam detection sets, both the first reference signal and the second reference signal.
A base station comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the base station to:
- transmit, to a wireless device, one or more configuration parameters indicating:
- a first beam detection set comprising a first reference signal;
- and
- a second beam detection set comprising a second reference signal, wherein the first reference signal overlaps in at least one symbol with the second reference signal;
- and transmit, for beam failure and in response to the first reference signal and the second reference signal being from two different beam detection sets, both the first reference signal and the second reference signal.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a wireless device, cause the wireless device to:
- receive one or more configuration parameters indicating:
- a first beam detection set comprising a first reference signal;
- and
- a second beam detection set comprising a second reference signal, wherein the first reference signal overlaps in at least one symbol with the second reference signal;
- and measure, for beam failure and in response to the first reference signal and the second reference signal being from two different beam detection sets, both the first reference signal and the second reference signal.
