Abstract
There is provided an image pickup element including a non-planar layer having a non-planar light incident surface in a light receiving region, and a microlens of an inorganic material which is provided on a side of the light incident surface of the non-planar layer, and collects incident light.
Claims17
A light detecting device comprising:
- a non-planar layer;
- and
- a microlens layer disposed above the non-planar layer,
- wherein a thickness from a bottom surface of the non-planar layer to a bottom surface of the microlens layer in a side direction of the non-planar layer is larger than a thickness from a bottom surface of the non-planar layer to a bottom surface of the microlens layer in a diagonal direction of the non-planar layer.
