Multi-processor synchronization

A system including at least one hardware processor operable to synchronize state data of the system executable by the at least one hardware processor, the system comprising:

• a first processor of the at least one hardware processor, wherein the first processor is configured to execute based at least in part on initial state data during a first update cycle, wherein the initial state data represents an initial system state of the system prior to initiation of the first update cycle;
• and
• a synchronization manager operable to:
• detect, prior to a predefined progress position within the first update cycle, one or more first changes in state of the system by the first processor using one or more sensors, the one or more first changes in state being added to a first record of modified state data until the predefined progress position within the first update cycle;
• designate the first record of modified state data as second cycle state data, based at least in part on reaching the predefined progress position within the first update cycle;
• and
• transition, responsive to completion of the first update cycle, from execution of the first processor based on the initial state data in the first update cycle, to execution of the first processor based on the second cycle state data in a second update cycle after the completion of the first update cycle.

One or more tangible processor-readable storage media devices embodied with instructions executable on a system including at least one hardware processor a process of synchronizing state data on the at least one hardware processor, the process comprising:

• executing a first processor of the at least one hardware processor based at least in part on initial state data during a first update cycle, wherein the initial state data represents an initial system state of the system prior to initiation of the first update cycle;
• detecting, prior to a predefined progress position within the first update cycle, one or more first changes in state of the system using one or more sensors, the one or more first changes in state being added to a first record of modified state data until the predefined progress position within the first update cycle;
• designating the first record of modified state data as second cycle state data, based at least in part on reaching the predefined progress position within the first update cycle;
• detecting, after the predefined progress position within the first update cycle, one or more second changes in state of the system by the first processor using one or more sensors, the one or more second changes in state being added to a second record of modified state data;
• and
• transitioning, upon completion of the first update cycle, from execution of the first processor based on the initial state data in the first update cycle, to execution of the first processor based on the second cycle state data in a second update cycle after the completion of the first update cycle.
