An oxo-aflibercept composition produced in a cell culture media comprising a cell culture media wherein chemically defined media (CDM) is added to cell culture media and wherein one or more tryptophan amino acid residues of aflibercept is oxidized.
An oxo-aflibercept composition produced in a cell culture media comprising a cell culture media wherein chemically defined media (CDM) is added to cell culture media and wherein one or more amino acid residues of aflibercept is oxidized and wherein said one or more amino acid residues is histidine and/or tryptophan.
A prefilled syringe comprising aflibercept produced in a cell culture media wherein chemically defined media (CDM) is added to cell culture media and wherein said aflibercept includes oxidized variants that have at least one oxidized amino acid residue selected from the group consisting of His86, His110, His145, His209, His95, His19, His203, Trp58, Trp138 and a combination thereof.
