Abstract
The present invention provides compositions and methods for treating cancer in a human. The invention includes administering a genetically modified Th17 cell to express a CAR having an antigen binding domain, a transmembrane domain, and an ICOS intracellular signaling domain.
Claims7
A lentiviral vector comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR), wherein the CAR comprises, in tandem from the amino to the carboxy terminus, an antigen binding domain;
- optionally, a hinge domain;
- an ICOS transmembrane domain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 12;
- an ICOS intracellular signaling domain comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 13;
- and a CD3zeta signaling domain, wherein the CAR is without the inclusion of a costimulatory domain other than the ICOS intracellular signaling domain.
