Abstract
Method of inhibiting a protein-protein interaction between Von Hippel-Lindau tumor-suppressor protein and hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha useful in the treatment of angiogenesis-related diseases and promoting wound healing.
Claims8
A method of promoting wound healing in a subject in need thereof, die method comprising:
- administering a therapeutically elective amount of a metal complex of Formula 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable anion, wherein the metal complex of Formula 1 has the structure:

- each of Art1 and Ar2 is independently:
- wherein in for each instance is independently a whole number selected from 0-2;
- and
- R1 for each instance is independently selected from the group consisting of halide, nitro, nitrile, azido, —OR3, —OP(O)(OR3)2, —SR3, —N(R3)2, —P(O)(OR3)2, —C(O)R3, —C(O)OR3, —OC(O)R3, —N(R3)C(O)R3, —C(O)N(R3)2, —N(R3)C(O)OR3, —OC(O)N(R3)2, —OC(O)OR3, —N(R3)C(O)N(R3)2, —S(O)2R3, —S(O)2OR3, —S(O)2N(R3)2, —N(R3)S(O)2R3, alkyl, haloalkyl, perhaloalkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, heterocycloalkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, aralkyl, and —(CR42)pA, wherein p for each instance is independently a whole number selected from 1-10;
