Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel micronized 1,4-di(benzoxazol-2′-yl)benzene as well as to the use thereof in topical compositions.
Claims19
A micronized solid amorphous 1,4-di(benzoxazol-2′-yl)benzene of formula (I),
- wherein the micronized 1,4-di(benzoxazol-2′-yl)benzene has a mean particle size Dn50 of 50 nm to 300 nm as determined by laser diffraction, and wherein the 1,4-di(benzoxazol-2′-yl)benzene has a ratio UVB:UVA in a range of 0.40 to 0.55 and a specific absorbance E 1/1 @ 320 nm of ≥780.
