Transport lane usage

A system, comprising:

• a processor of a first transport in motion in a first lane;
• a memory on which are stored machine readable instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
• determine that enough room exists in front of the first transport in the first lane for a second transport to pass the first transport at a current speed of the second transport;
• transmit an alert to the second transport and one or more additional transports comprising an instruction to slow their transport, and an amount of time to wait until the first transport will maneuver away from the first lane to a second lane;
• and
• instruct the first transport to maneuver to the second lane allowing the second transport to pass the first transport in the first lane.

A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions, that when read by a processor, cause the processor to perform:

• determining, by a first transport, that enough room exists in front of the first transport in a first lane for a second transport to pass the first transport at a current speed of the second transport;
• transmitting, by the first transport, an alert to the second transport and one or more additional transports comprising an instruction to slow their transport, and an amount of time to wait until the first transport will maneuver away from the first lane to a second lane;
• and
• maneuvering, by the first transport, to the second lane allowing the second transport to pass the first transport in the first lane.
