Regenerative braking control system

A regenerative braking control system for a vehicle, comprising:

• one or more user interface elements located in a cabin of the vehicle and corresponding to a plurality of regenerative braking settings, each of the plurality of regenerative braking settings corresponding to a different amount of regenerative braking torque to apply to one or more wheels of the vehicle;
• and
• a processor operatively connected to the user interface elements and configured to:
• detect a condition in which wherein the weight of at least one of the vehicle and a trailer operatively connected to the vehicle is higher than a predetermined weight threshold;
• and
• responsive to detecting the condition, cause the amount of regenerative braking torque for one or more of the regenerative braking settings to be increased.

A regenerative braking control system for a vehicle, comprising:

• one or more user interface elements located in a cabin of the vehicle and corresponding to a plurality of regenerative braking settings, each of the plurality of regenerative braking settings corresponding to a different amount of regenerative braking torque to apply to one or more wheels of the vehicle;
• and
• a processor operatively connected to the user interface elements and configured to:
• detect a condition in which the weight of at least one of the vehicle and a trailer operatively connected to the vehicle is below a predetermined weight threshold;
• and
• responsive to detecting the condition, cause the amount of regenerative braking torque for one or more of the regenerative braking settings to be decreased.

A regenerative braking control system for a vehicle, comprising:

• one or more user interface elements located in a cabin of the vehicle and corresponding to a plurality of regenerative braking settings, each of the plurality of regenerative braking settings corresponding to a different amount of regenerative braking torque to apply to one or more wheels of the vehicle;
• and
• a processor operatively connected to the user interface elements and configured to:
• detect a condition in which the center of gravity of at least one of the vehicle and a trailer operatively connected to the vehicle is higher than a predetermined center of gravity threshold;
• and
• responsive to detecting the condition, cause the amount of regenerative braking torque for one or more of the regenerative braking settings to be decreased.

A regenerative braking control system for a vehicle, comprising:

• one or more user interface elements located in a cabin of the vehicle and corresponding to a plurality of regenerative braking settings, each of the plurality of regenerative braking settings corresponding to a different amount of regenerative braking torque to apply to one or more wheels of the vehicle;
• and
• a processor operatively connected to the user interface elements and configured to:
• detect a condition in which the center of gravity of at least one of the vehicle and a trailer operatively connected to the vehicle is lower than a predetermined center of gravity threshold;
• and
• responsive to detecting the condition, cause the amount of regenerative braking torque for one or more of the regenerative braking settings to be increased.
