A display control method for a computer of a display device mounted on a vehicle to display operation information related to downhill road travel control, which controls a speed of the vehicle traveling downhill to a constant speed, on a display part, wherein the downhill road travel control is control that switches from a standby state to an active state when an execution condition, which comprises that input of an accelerator operation and a brake operation is stopped, is satisfied;

• and
• display a standby state image showing that the downhill road travel control is in the standby state when the downhill road travel control is in the standby state, and display an active state image having a different display mode from the standby state image and showing that the downhill road travel control is in the active state when the downhill road travel control is in the active state,
• display the standby state image instead of the active state image when the downhill road travel control is in the active state and the accelerator operation or the brake operation is input, wherein
• the standby state image comprises a first image showing a speed range controllable by the downhill road travel control, a second image showing a target vehicle speed of the vehicle, and a third image showing the speed of the vehicle, and
• display the second image in a position associated with a lower limit of the speed range when the speed of the vehicle becomes lower than the lower limit of the speed range.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium recording a program for a computer of a display device mounted on a vehicle to

• display operation information related to downhill road travel control, which controls a speed of the vehicle traveling downhill to a constant speed, on a display part, wherein the downhill road travel control is control that switches from a standby state to an active state when an execution condition, which comprises that input of an accelerator operation and a brake operation is stopped, is satisfied;
• and
• display a standby state image showing that the downhill road travel control is in the standby state when the downhill road travel control is in the standby state, and display an active state image having a different display mode from the standby state image and showing that the downhill road travel control is in the active state when the downhill road travel control is in the active state,
• display the standby state image instead of the active state image when the downhill road travel control is in the active state and the accelerator operation or the brake operation is input, wherein
• the standby state image comprises a first image showing a speed range controllable by the downhill road travel control, a second image showing a target vehicle speed of the vehicle, and a third image showing the speed of the vehicle, and
• display the second image in a position associated with a lower limit of the speed range when the speed of the vehicle becomes lower than the lower limit of the speed range.
