Abstract
The present invention provides a novel method of initiating or escalating dofetilide dosage with the goal of maximizing patient safety while shortening the time period required for electrocardiographic monitoring from three days to one day.

A dofetilide pharmaceutical composition, comprising:
- a. 10-1000 μg/mL Dofetilide;
- b. 1-20% by volume 1,3-propanediol;
- and
- c. water;
- wherein the composition suitable for intravenous solution.
