Abstract
A smart kettle is disclosed. The smart kettle includes a body that is configured to increase in temperature in response to a magnetic field. The smart kettle further includes a temperature sensor that is located on a bottom of the body and that is configured to measure a temperature of the bottom of the body. The smart kettle further includes a controller that is configured to adjust a strength of the magnetic field based on the temperature measured by the temperature sensor by outputting a control signal.
Claims18
A smart kettle, comprising:
- a body that is configured to increase in temperature in response to a magnetic field;
- a temperature sensor that is located on a bottom of the body and that is configured to measure a temperature of the bottom of the body;
- and
- a controller that is configured to output a control signal to adjust a strength of the magnetic field based on the temperature measured by the temperature sensor,
- wherein the controller is configured to output the control signal to adjust the strength of the magnetic field by:
- compensating the measured temperature by using pre-stored data to correct a temperature measurement error resulting from a vacuum space between an inner surface of the bottom of the body and an outer surface of the bottom of the body, and
- adjusting the strength of the magnetic field based on the compensated temperature.
A smart kettle used over a smart table configured to generate a magnetic field, the smart kettle comprising:
- a body that is configured to increase in temperature in response to the magnetic field generated by the smart table;
- and
- a controller that is configured to output a control signal to adjust a strength of the magnetic field based on the temperature of the body,
- wherein the controller is configured to output the control signal to adjust the strength of the magnetic field by:
- compensating a temperature measured in the body by using pre-stored data to correct a temperature measurement error resulting from a vacuum space between an inner surface of a bottom of the body and an outer surface of a bottom of the body, and
- adjusting the strength of the magnetic field based on the temperature measured in the body.
