Abstract
A device comprises an enclosure having a rear opening adapted to receive a light beam from a light source, a front opening adapted to emit a modified light beam, and internal walls extending between the rear opening and the front opening. The light beam is modified according to a perimeter of the front opening. A light shaping assembly comprises a two-dimensional array formed of a plurality of such devices, each one of the plurality of devices being adapted to receive a light beam from a corresponding light source.

A device, comprising:
- an enclosure having:
- a rear opening adapted to receive a light beam from a light source,
- a front opening adapted to emit a modified light beam, and
- internal walls extending between the rear opening and the front opening;
- the light beam being modified according to a perimeter of the front opening,
- wherein the device is adapted to be positioned at a distance from the light source so to leave an air gap between the light source and the device, the air gap extending parallel to the rear opening and to a support for the light source, the air gap being configured for allowing cooling of the light source.
