Secure system that includes driving related systems

A method for securing a system, the method comprising:

• performing, by multiple driving related systems, driving related operations;
• monitoring, by multiple fault collection and management units, statuses of the multiple driving related systems;
• sending a report, to a selection circuitry, the report indicative of at least one out of (a) occurrence of at least one critical fault, (b) absence of at least one critical fault, (c) occurrence of at least one non-critical fault, and (d) absence of at least one non-critical fault;
• wherein the selection circuitry differs from the multiple fault collection and management units and is coupled to the multiple fault collection and management units;
• and
• responding, by the selection circuitry, to the report;
• wherein the responding comprises:
• (i) determining, based on the report, whether the multiple driving related systems comprise one or more secure driving related systems;
• (ii) selecting a secure driving related system from the one or more secure driving related systems;
• (iii) outputting signals from the selected secure driving related system when it is determined that the multiple driving related systems comprise one or more secure driving related systems;
• (iv) determining, based on the report, whether the multiple driving related systems comprises one or more not secure driving related systems;
• (v) finding, based on the report, one or more not secure driving related systems when it is determined that the multiple driving related systems comprise one or more not secure driving related systems;
• (vi) determining whether to reset at least one of the one or more not secure driving related systems;
• and
• (vii) responsive to determining that the at least one of the one or more not secure driving related systems should be reset, resetting the at least one of the one or more not secure driving related systems without resetting the selection circuitry.

A non-transitory computer program product that stores instructions for performing the operations comprising:

• performing, by multiple driving related systems, driving related operations;
• monitoring, by multiple fault collection and management units, statuses of the multiple driving related systems;
• sending a report, to a selection circuitry, the report is indicative of at least one out of (a) occurrence of at least one critical fault, (b) absence of at least one critical fault, (c) occurrence of at least one non-critical fault, and (d) absence of at least one non-critical fault;
• wherein the selection circuitry differs from the multiple fault collection and management units and is coupled to the multiple fault collection and management units;
• and
• responding, by the selection circuitry, to the report;
• wherein the responding comprises:
• (i) determining, based on the report, whether the multiple driving related systems comprise one or more secure driving related systems;
• (ii) selecting a secure driving related system from the one or more secure driving related systems;
• (iii) outputting signals from the selected secure driving related system when it is determined that the multiple driving related systems comprise one or more secure driving related systems;
• (iv) determining, based on the report, whether the multiple driving related systems comprises one or more not secure driving related systems;
• (v) finding, based on the report, one or more not secure driving related systems when it is determined that the multiple driving related systems comprise one or more not secure driving related systems;
• (vi) determining whether to reset at least one of the one or more not secure driving related systems;
• and
• (vii) responsive to determining that the at least one of the one or more not secure driving related systems should be reset, resetting the at least one of the one or more not secure driving related systems without resetting the selection circuitry.
