Portable power systems for vehicles

A vehicle, comprising:

• a passenger cabin;
• a front trunk located in front of the passenger cabin and configured to establish a front cargo space of the vehicle;
• a truck bed located rearward of the passenger cabin and configured to establish a rear cargo space of the vehicle;
• a portable power system removably positioned within the front trunk, wherein the portable power system includes a tray and a plurality of modular battery units individually removable from the tray;
• a control system located on-board the vehicle and configured to command the vehicle into a Following Mode in which the vehicle autonomously moves to follow a movement of an operator of an electrically powered device that is plugged into the portable power system;
• a tracking system located on-board the vehicle and configured to track the movement of the operator;
• and
• a pivotable grille assembly including a pivotable panel configured to move between a first position in which the portable power system is enclosed inside the front trunk and a second position in which the portable power system is removable from the front trunk.
