A SMAC mimetic and pharmaceutical compositions thereof and methods of use.
Claims17
A method of treating cancer in a mammal in need thereof, comprising administering to the mammal an effective amount of a compound of Formula (I):
- wherein R5 is —CH2CH3, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and
- a second chemotherapy, wherein the second chemotherapy comprises a biological agent which binds to and activates a TRAIL receptor, azacitidine, azathioprine, capecitabine, cytarabine, doxifluridine, fluorouracil, gemcitabine, mercaptopurine, methotrexate, or tioguanine.
A method of inducing apoptosis in a cancer cell, comprising contacting the cancer cell with a compound of Formula (I):
- wherein R5-CH2CH3, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and
- with a second chemotherapy, wherein the second chemotherapy comprises a biological agent which binds to and activates a TRAIL receptor, azacitidine, azathioprine, capecitabine, cytarabine, doxifluridine, fluorouracil, gemcitabine, mercaptopurine, methotrexate, or tioguanine.
