Abstract
A method for producing x-ray markers. During the process, a predetermined breaking point is severed in order to detach x-ray markers from part of a material layer. There is also described an x-ray marker, a medical implant, and a semifinished product.
Claims11
A method for producing x-ray markers, the method comprising:
- providing a material layer;
- precutting a region of the material layer forming the x-ray marker to be produced, such that the region is connected via at least one web, which forms a predetermined breaking point, to a part of the material layer surrounding the region entirely;
- the predetermined breaking point being arranged inwardly, closer to a center of the region, than two edge portions of the region adjoining the at least one web;
- and
- severing the web at the predetermined breaking point in order to detach the x-ray marker from the part of the material layer surrounding an entirey of the region forming the x-ray marker.
