Multi-chamber fluid cartridge for smart automated contact lens cleansing device

A system for automated cleansing of a contact lens, the system comprising:

• a multi-chamber fluid cartridge configured to reversibly mate with an automated contact lens cleansing device that is configured to perform one or more cleansing cycles on one or more contact lenses, the multi-chamber fluid cartridge comprising:
• a first chamber configured to store unused cleansing solution for use by the automated contact lens cleansing device;
• a second chamber configured to store used cleansing solution that is drained from the automated contact lens cleansing device, the second chamber physically isolated from the first chamber;
• and
• an identifier configured to wirelessly transmit identification information associated with the multi-chamber fluid cartridge to the automated contact lens cleansing device,
• where the identification information enables acceptance of the multi-chamber fluid cartridge by the automated contact lens cleansing device based on the identification information matching approved identification information.
