Abstract
A lubricating oil composition which contains a base oil and a fluorine compound and may have improved cooling performance. The base oil may contain a mineral oil. The base oil may have a kinematic viscosity in a range of from 1 to 25 mm2/s at 40° C. The content of the fluorine compound may be in a range of from 3 to 30% by weight based on the total amount of the composition.
Claims20
A lubricating oil composition suitable for cooling an electric vehicle apparatus the composition comprising:
- a base oil;
- and
- a fluorine compound,
- wherein the base oil comprises a mineral oil,
- wherein the base oil has a kinematic viscosity at 40° C. in a range of from 1 to 5 mm2/s, and
- wherein the fluorine compound is present in a range of from 3 to 15 wt. %, based on total composition weight.
