Multi-player game system

A method of playing a multi-player game, said method comprising the steps of:

• (a) providing a hexagonal game board, wherein the game board comprises a plurality of hexagonal cells on a top surface of the game board, wherein the cells are separated into a plurality of kingdoms comprising kingdom cells, a plurality of battlefield cells, and a central cell, wherein each of the cells of the game board further includes a plurality of orientation markers extending along edges of the respective cell;
• (b) providing a set of game pieces, wherein the set of game pieces is associated with one of the plurality of kingdoms, wherein each of the game pieces is shaped as a shield with a straight upper edge and a U-shaped lower edge, wherein each of the game pieces further comprises an orientation marker extending along the upper edge of the respective game piece;
• (c) positioning a given game piece in a proper orientation within a given cell of the game board by aligning the orientation marker extending along the upper edge of the given game piece with the orientation marker of the given cell that corresponds with the orientation marker of the given game piece,
• wherein at least one of the game pieces from the set of game pieces includes an indicia on the at least one game piece, wherein the indicia is indicative of a legal maneuver permitted by said at least one game piece;
• and
• (d) moving the at least one game piece that includes the indicia about the cells of the game board according to the legal maneuver indicated by the indicia.
