Abstract
An example printing apparatus is illustrated. The printing apparatus includes a print engine assembly. The print engine assembly further includes a bottom chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a top chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a print head positioned within the top chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a plurality of offset pins coupled to the print head, where the plurality of offset pins abuts the bottom chassis portion, and where the plurality of offset pins enables the print head to be positioned at a predetermined distance from the bottom chassis portion.
Claims20
A printing apparatus comprising:
- a print engine assembly, the print engine assembly comprising:
- a bottom chassis portion;
- a top chassis portion;
- a print head positioned within the top chassis portion;
- and
- a plurality of offset pins extending out from the bottom chassis portion, wherein the plurality of offset pins abut the print head such that a top surface of the bottom chassis portion is positioned at a predetermined distance from the print head, wherein the top surface of the bottom chassis portion is configured to receive print media.
A print engine assembly comprising:
- a print head chassis comprising:
- a bottom chassis portion;
- a top chassis portion;
- a print head positioned within the top chassis portion;
- and
- a plurality of offset pins extending outwardly from the bottom chassis portion, wherein at least one of the plurality of offset pins abuts the print head such that a top surface of the bottom chassis portion is positioned to be at a predetermined distance from the print head, wherein the top surface of the bottom chassis portion is configured to receive print media.
A printing apparatus comprising:
- a print engine assembly, the print engine assembly comprising:
- a bottom chassis portion, wherein the bottom chassis portion is configured to receive print media;
- a top chassis portion;
- a print head positioned within the top chassis portion;
- and
- an offset pin that extends outwardly from the print head and positions the bottom chassis portion at a predetermined distance in an instance in which the top chassis portion and the bottom chassis portion are latched.
