Fastening device for removably attaching an object, as well as a method for removably attaching an object

A fastening device for removably attaching an object to a surface of a material, said fastening device comprising:

• a base, rotatable in at least one direction around an axis of rotation;
• a support frame arranged to mechanically support said base, wherein said base is configured to rotate with respect to said support frame and the axis of rotation of said base is transverse to a reference plane of said support frame;
• at least one open-ring shaped piercing member comprising a secured end and a piercing end, said secured end attached to the base, and said piercing member configured such that the piercing end of said piercing member follows a first curved trajectory when said base is rotated;
• and
• a first abutment, arranged on said support frame and configured to, when brought in contact with said piercing member, cause said piercing end of the piercing member to follow a second curved trajectory,
• such that a plane of said second trajectory is offset by a deviation angle from a plane of said first trajectory.
