A method of capturing carbon dioxide, the method comprising:
- capturing carbon dioxide from an ambient environment using a solid material comprising a cement composition, the cement composition comprising:
- a first material comprising a porous zeolite;
- a second material comprising silica and/or a carbonate compound;
- and
- a third material comprising a metal oxide.
