Abstract
An acetylated wood fibre suitable for the fabrication of wood products wherein the wood fibre has a moisture content from about 5% to about 8.5% w/w.
Claims5
A wood product, comprising:
- a pressed acetylated wood fibre prepared from an acetylated wood fibre having a moisture content that is greater than or equal to about 6% w/w and less than or equal to 7% w/w;
- and
- methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) resin.
