Abstract
Multilayer films and adhesive tapes that include such films, wherein the multilayer films include plasticized polyvinyl chloride and optionally one or more fillers.
Claims17
An adhesive tape comprising:
- a backing comprising a multilayer film comprising one or more organic polymers, wherein the multilayer film comprises at least three layers, wherein each layer of the multilayer film backing comprises plasticized polyvinyl chloride having at least 25 wt-% polyvinyl chloride, based on the total weight of the layer, and at least one layer comprises one or more fillers;
- a primer layer disposed on at least one major surface of the backing;
- and
- a pressure sensitive adhesive layer disposed on the primer layer, wherein the primer is solventless.
