Umbrella system

An umbrella system, comprising:

• a first tube;
• the first tube extending a length from a top end to a bottom end;
• an umbrella frame;
• the umbrella frame positioned adjacent the top end of the first tube;
• wherein the umbrella frame is configured to move between an open position and a closed position;
• an upper hub;
• the upper hub positioned adjacent the top end of the first tube;
• the upper hub connected to the umbrella frame;
• a lower hub;
• the lower hub positioned around the first tube;
• the lower hub connected to the umbrella frame;
• a motor;
• the motor operably connected to the umbrella system and configured to move the umbrella frame between the open and closed positions;
• a power source having a first battery;
• wherein the power source is configured to power the motor;
• a solar panel positioned on the upper hub;
• wherein the solar panel is configured to charge the first battery of the power source;
• a first lighting assembly;
• wherein the first lighting assembly is positioned on and is movable along the first tube;
• wherein the first lighting assembly includes a second battery and one or more lighting elements powered by the second battery;
• wherein the first lighting assembly is configured to electrically connect the second battery to the power source and thereby facilitate charging of the second battery when the first lighting assembly is moved to a charging position along the first tube.

An umbrella system, comprising:

• a first tube;
• the first tube extending a length from a top end to a bottom end;
• an umbrella frame;
• the umbrella frame positioned adjacent a top end of the first tube;
• wherein the umbrella frame is configured to move between an open position and a closed position;
• a motor;
• the motor operably connected to the umbrella system and configured to move the umbrella frame between the open position and the closed position;
• a power source;
• wherein the power source is configured to power the motor;
• a first lighting assembly;
• wherein the first lighting assembly is positioned on and is movable along the first tube;
• wherein the first lighting assembly includes a battery and one or more lighting elements powered by the battery;
• wherein the first lighting assembly is configured to electrically connect the battery to the power source and thereby facilitate charging of the battery when the first lighting assembly is moved to a charging position along the first tube.
