Abstract
An organic light emitting diode display includes a plurality of first signal lines, a first insulating layer covering the first signal lines, a plurality of second signal lines on the first insulating layer and crossing the first signal lines, and a plurality of pixels connected to the first signal lines and the second signal lines. A groove in the first insulating layer separates adjacent ones of the pixels and a filling material in the groove.
Claims16
A light emitting diode display, comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first insulating layer over the substrate, and having a first groove;
- a first conductor over the first insulating layer;
- a second insulating layer covering the first conductor and the first insulating layer, and having a first opening connected to the first groove;
- a second conductor over the second insulating layer;
- a third insulating layer covering the second conductor and the second insulating layer;
- and
- a filling material in the first opening and the first groove, the filling material made of an electrically insulative material, wherein
- a thickness of the filling material in the first opening and the first groove is less than a thickness from a bottom surface of the first insulating layer to an upper surface of the second insulating layer;
- and
- the second conductor is in direct contact with an upper surface of the filling material.

- a substrate;
- a first insulating layer over the substrate, and having a first groove;
- a first conductor over the first insulating layer;
- a second insulating layer covering the first conductor and the first insulating layer, and having a first opening connected to the first groove;
- a second conductor over the second insulating layer;
- a third insulating layer covering the second conductor and the second insulating layer;
- and
- a filling material in the first opening and the first groove, wherein
- a thickness of the filling material in the first opening and the first groove is less than a thickness from a bottom surface of the first insulating layer to an upper surface of the second insulating layer,
- the first insulating layer includes an inorganic material,
- the filling material includes an elastic material, and
- the second conductor is in direct contact with an upper surface of the filling material.

- a first conductor over the first insulating layer;
