Brush port assembly and method for installing same

A brush port assembly comprising:

• a bezel frame comprised of an elongate body having first and second ends and formed as a generally enclosed shape that frames an opening, whereby the first and second ends are arranged in an end-to-end relationship with a gap therebetween;
• and
• a brush component having a spine member from which a plurality of bristles extends, the spine member being secured to the elongate body with the bristles substantially entirely covering the opening;
• wherein the bezel frame includes at least one hook and at least one deflectable tab that extend downward from the elongate body to facilitate securement of the bezel frame along an exposed edge of a brush port opening in a surface of an electronic equipment enclosure without the aid of tools.

A brush port assembly comprising:

• a bezel frame comprised of an elongate body having first and second ends and formed as a generally enclosed shape that frames an opening, whereby the first and second ends are arranged in an end-to-end relationship;
• and
• a brush component having a spine member from which a plurality of bristles extends, the spine member being secured to the elongate body with the bristles substantially entirely covering the opening;
• wherein the bezel frame is installable, without the aid of tools, along an exposed edge of a brush port opening in a surface of an electronic equipment enclosure;
• and
• wherein the bezel frame is installable around a cable that passes through the brush port opening by maneuvering the cable between the first and second ends.
