Apparatus and method for video-audio processing, and program for separating an object sound corresponding to a selected video object

A video-audio processing method executed by processing circuitry, the method comprising:

• causing one or more video objects, based on a video signal, to be displayed in an image;
• selecting a video object from the one or more video objects in the displayed image in response to a selection by a user;
• extracting an audio object signal of the selected video object from an audio signal;
• and
• setting a processing priority corresponding to the selected video object of the one or more video objects, the processing priority indicating a priority with which the selected video object is processed, wherein the processing priority is set in response to user manipulation of a processing priority setting image located on the displayed image in the vicinity of the selected video object.

A non-transitory computer readable medium containing instructions that, when executed by processing circuitry, perform a video-audio processing method comprising:

• causing one or more video objects, based on a video signal, to be displayed in an image;
• selecting a video object from the one or more video objects in the displayed image in response to a selection by a user;
• extracting an audio object signal of the selected video object from an audio signal;
• and
• setting a processing priority corresponding to the selected video object of the one or more video objects, the processing priority indicating a priority with which the selected video object is processed, wherein the processing priority is set in response to user manipulation of a processing priority setting image located on the displayed image in the vicinity of the selected video object.
