Abstract
A semiconductor device package includes a substrate and a conductive lid. The conductive lid is disposed within the substrate. The conductive lid defines a waveguide having a cavity. The waveguide is configured to transmit a signal from a first electronic component to a second electronic component through the cavity.

A semiconductor device package, comprising:
- a conductive lid defining a waveguide having a cavity;
- a dielectric layer encapsulating the conductive lid and partially disposed within the cavity,
- a first conductive via partially penetrating the dielectric layer and connecting a bottom surface of the conductive lid,
- wherein the waveguide is configured to transmit a signal from a first electronic component to a second electronic component through the cavity.

A semiconductor device package, comprising:
- a conductive lid including a base portion and an extending portion extending upwardly from the base portion;
- a conductive layer disposed over the conductive lid;
- and
- at least three conductive vias connecting the extending portion of the conductive lid with the conductive layer,
- wherein the at least three conductive vias are arranged along a direction,
- wherein the conductive lid, the conductive layer, and the at least three conductive vias collectively define a waveguide.

- a conductive lid defining a waveguide having a cavity;
- a dielectric layer encapsulating the conductive lid and partially disposed within the cavity;
- and
- a conductive line disposed over the dielectric layer and comprising a first portion and a second portion at a substantially same level with the first portion, wherein the first portion is configured to transmit a first signal through the waveguide and the second portion is configured to receive a second signal through the waveguide.
