Abstract
A method for execution by a computing entity for creating a learning tool regarding a topic includes obtaining a first assessment response for a first set of knowledge assessment assets of a first learning object of learning objects. The method further includes selecting one of the first learning object, a second learning object, and a third learning object as an active learning object based on the first assessment response.
Claims18
A method for creating a learning tool regarding a topic, the method comprises:
- identifying, by a computing entity of a computing system, an illustrative asset that is common to a first set of assets, a second sets of assets, a third set of assets, and a first set of knowledge assessment assets, wherein the first set of assets represents a first learning object that includes a first set of knowledge bullet-points for a first piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the second set of assets represents a second learning object that includes a second set of knowledge bullet-points for a second piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the third set of assets represents a third learning object that includes a third set of knowledge bullet-points for a third piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the first set of knowledge assessment assets includes a first set of knowledge test-points for the first piece of information regarding the topic;
- rendering, by the computing entity, a model of the illustrative asset and a model of the first set of knowledge assessment assets with regards to the first set of knowledge test-points to transform the first set of knowledge test-points into video frames representing the first set of knowledge assessment assets;
- issuing, by the computing entity, the video frames representing the first set of knowledge assessment assets to a second computing entity of the computing system;
- obtaining, by the computing entity, a first assessment response for the first set of knowledge assessment assets for the first learning object;
- and
- selecting, by the computing entity, one of the first learning object, the second learning object, and the third learning object as an active learning object based on the first assessment response.
A computing entity of a computing system comprises:
- an interface;
- a local memory;
- and
- a processing module operably coupled to the interface and the local memory, wherein the processing module functions to:
- identify an illustrative asset that is common to a first set of assets, a second sets of assets, a third set of assets, and a first set of knowledge assessment assets, wherein the first set of assets represents a first learning object that includes a first set of knowledge bullet-points for a first piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the second set of assets represents a second learning object that includes a second set of knowledge bullet-points for a second piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the third set of assets represents a third learning object that includes a third set of knowledge bullet-points for a third piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the first set of knowledge assessment assets includes a first set of knowledge test-points for the first piece of information regarding the topic;
- render a model of the illustrative asset and a model of the first set of knowledge assessment assets with regards to the first set of knowledge test-points to transform the first set of knowledge test-points into video frames representing the first set of knowledge assessment assets;
- issue, via the interface, the video frames representing the first set of knowledge assessment assets to a second computing entity of the computing system;
- obtain a first assessment response for the first set of knowledge assessment assets for the first learning object;
- and
- select one of the first learning object, the second learning object, and the third learning object as an active learning object based on the first assessment response.
A non-transitory computer readable memory of a first computing entity of a computing system comprises:
- a first memory element that stores operational instructions that, when executed by a processing module, causes the processing module to:
- identify an illustrative asset that is common to a first set of assets, a second sets of assets, a third set of assets, and a first set of knowledge assessment assets, wherein the first set of assets represents a first learning object that includes a first set of knowledge bullet-points for a first piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the second set of assets represents a second learning object that includes a second set of knowledge bullet-points for a second piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the third set of assets represents a third learning object that includes a third set of knowledge bullet-points for a third piece of information regarding the topic, wherein the first set of knowledge assessment assets includes a first set of knowledge test-points for the first piece of information regarding the topic;
- render a model of the illustrative asset and a model of the first set of knowledge assessment assets with regards to the first set of knowledge test-points to transform the first set of knowledge test-points into video frames representing the first set of knowledge assessment assets;
- issue the video frames representing the first set of knowledge assessment assets to a second computing entity of the computing system;
- and
- obtain a first assessment response for the first set of knowledge assessment assets for the first learning object;
- and
- a second memory element that stores operational instructions that, when executed by the processing module, causes the processing module to:
- select one of the first learning object, the second learning object, and the third learning object as an active learning object based on the first assessment response.
