Systems and methods for altering display parameters for users with epilepsy

A method for alternating default website display parameters to conform with an epilepsy-safe profile, the method comprising:

• obtaining an indication that a user of a website has epilepsy;
• and
• based on the obtained indication, implementing a predefined template to alter multiple website default display parameters to conform with needs of the epileptic user y modifying website code, wherein implementing the predefined template includes:
• executing a stop animation command in website code on a user session basis to limit movement on a display, wherein the stop animation command is targeted towards a specific type of animation;
• and
• adjusting a value of at least one web display parameter;
• wherein executing the stop animation command and adjusting the value of the at least one web display parameter is configured to impact presentation of content on a computing device of the user with the epileptic disability without impacting presentation of content on other computing devices of other simultaneous viewers of the website;
• and wherein modifying website code includes:
• determining accessibility information associated with the website based on context via an analysis of image content associated with the website;
• and
• updating the website code based on the accessibility information.

A system for alternating default website display parameters to conform with an epilepsy-safe profile, the system comprising:

• at least one processor configured to:
• obtain an indication that a user of a website has epilepsy;
• and
• based on the obtained indication, implementing a predefined template to alter multiple website default display parameters to conform with needs of the epileptic user by modifying website code, wherein implementing the predefined template includes:
• executing a stop animation command in website code on a user session basis to limit movement on a display, wherein the stop animation command is targeted towards a specific type of animation;
• and
• adjusting a value of at least one web display parameter;
• wherein executing the stop animation command and adjusting the value of the at least one web display parameter is configured to impact presentation of content on a computing device of the user with the epileptic disability without impacting presentation of content on other computing devices of other simultaneous viewers of the website;
• and wherein modifying website code includes:
• determining accessibility information associated with the website based on context via an analysis of image content associated with the website;
• and
• updating the website code based on the accessibility information.
