Systems and methods for automatically updating guaranteed computing counters

A computer-implemented system for updating a counter value in a data structure, comprising:

• a memory storing instructions;
• and
• at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform a process, the process comprising:
• receiving information relating to a first event;
• creating, for the first event, a first entry in a data structure, the first entry including a first counter identifier value for a counter identifier field of the data structure;
• receiving information relating to a second event, wherein the second event comprises an online request from a user device;
• determining, for the second event, a second counter identifier value for the counter identifier field of the data structure;
• determining that the second counter identifier value matches the first counter identifier value;
• increasing a counter value in a counter value field of the first entry;
• determining whether the counter value is equal to or exceeds a predetermined threshold;
• and
• in response to the determination, automatically sending an instruction, over a network, to a server located separately from the computer-implemented system to cause the server to deny a future request from the user device.
