Codeless anchor detection for aggregate anchors

One or more non-transitory computer-readable storage media including instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform steps of:

• receiving a first representation of a physical space that includes a real-world asset, wherein the first representation comprises a digital image of the physical space captured using an image capturing device associated with a client device;
• extracting a second representation of a first detectable feature and a third representation of a second detectable feature from the first representation, wherein at least one of the first detectable feature or the second detectable feature comprises textual content, pictorial content or a three-dimensional object model with an associated two-dimensional texture image;
• determining a first location, on a display device associated with the client device, at which to present asset content associated with the real-world asset based on a second location associated with the first detectable feature and a third location associated with the second detectable feature;
• determining a first orientation at which to present the asset content on the display device based on a second orientation associated with the first detectable feature and a third orientation associated with the second detectable feature;
• determining, from a list of anchors associated with a geolocation with which the client device is associated, that at least one of the first detectable feature or the second detectable feature corresponds to an anchor that is associated with the real-world asset;
• retrieving, based on the anchor, the asset content associated with the real-world asset from a data intake and query system;
• and
• causing a visual representation of the asset content to be presented on the display device based on at least one of the first location or the first orientation.

A system, comprising:

• a memory that includes instructions;
• and
• a processor that is coupled to the memory and, when executing the instructions, is configured to:
• receive a first representation of a physical space that includes a real-world asset, wherein the first representation comprises a digital image of the physical space captured using an image capturing device associated with a client device;
• extract a second representation of a first detectable feature and a third representation of a second detectable feature from the first representation, wherein at least one of the first detectable feature or the second detectable feature comprises textual content, pictorial content or a three-dimensional object model with an associated two-dimensional texture image;
• determine a first location, on a display device associated with the client device, at which to present asset content associated with the real-world asset based on a second location associated with the first detectable feature and a third location associated with the second detectable feature;
• determine a first orientation at which to present the asset content on the display device based on a second orientation associated with the first detectable feature and a third orientation associated with the second detectable feature;
• determine, from a list of anchors associated with a geolocation with which the client device is associated, that at least one of the first detectable feature or the second detectable feature corresponds to an anchor that is associated with the real-world asset;
• retrieve, based on the anchor, the asset content associated with the real-world asset from a data intake and query system;
• and
• cause a visual representation of the asset content to be presented on the display device based on at least one of the first location or the first orientation.
