wherein tinostamustine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered at a dosage level of from 60 to 150 mg/m2 body surface area of the patient; and,
wherein the tinostamustine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered intravenously to the patient in need thereof on days 1, 8 and 15 of a 28-day treatment cycle.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the ovarian cancer is from the omentum.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the cancer is platinum resistant.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the cancer is BRCA-1/2 wild type.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the cancer is relapsed ovarian cancer, or a refractory ovarian cancer, or a combination thereof.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the cancer is a primary cancer.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein tinostamustine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered in combination with carboplatin and a further agent.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The method according to claim 7, wherein the further agent comprises paclitaxel.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein tinostamustine and carboplatin are administered concurrently, sequentially or separately.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the tinostamustine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered intravenously to the patient in need thereof over an infusion time of 60 minutes, 45 minutes, or 30 minutes.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the tinostamustine or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered intravenously to the patient in need thereof at a dosage level of from 80 mg/m2 to 100 mg/m2 body surface area of the patient, on days 1 and 15 of a 28-day treatment cycle, over an infusion time of 60 minutes.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

The method according to claim 1, wherein the patient is further treated with radiotherapy.
