## Abstract

The present invention is directed to novel chemical compositions of matter, and in particular novel MDMA class of compounds having substituted methylenedioxyphenethylamine and substituted amphetamine, having a metabolically labile thioether group.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A MDMA analog compound according to Formula (V) comprising:
wherein:
X1 is S;
X2 is O;
R1 is NR2R3;
R2 is H or CH3;
R3 is CH3;
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

The compound of claim 1, wherein the compound is the compound of Formula I:

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of the compound of claim 1, and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

The pharmaceutical composition of claim 3, further comprising at least one further therapeutic agent selected from: a tryptamine compound, an entactogen compound, or a combination of the same.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of the compound of claim 2, and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5, further comprising at least one further therapeutic agent selected from: a tryptamine compound, an entactogen compound, or a combination of the same.
