Display device including a first dam and a second dam disposed in the peripheral area

A display device, comprising:

• a display panel that includes a display area and a peripheral area around the display area;
• a partition layer disposed on the display area and that includes a first opening through which light is emitted from an organic light emitting diode;
• a first monomer disposed on the partition layer;
• a touch electrode disposed on the first monomer;
• a touch insulation layer disposed on the touch electrode;
• a high refractive index layer disposed on the touch insulation layer, and
• a first dam and a second dam disposed in the peripheral area, wherein the first dam is disposed between the display area and the second dam,
• wherein the first dam contacts the first monomer, and
• wherein the high refractive index layer does not flow over the second dam.

A display device, comprising:

• a display panel that includes a display area and a peripheral area around the display area;
• a partition layer disposed on the display area and that includes an opening through which light is emitted from an organic light emitting diode;
• a first monomer disposed on the partition layer;
• a touch electrode disposed on the first monomer;
• a touch insulation layer disposed on the touch electrode;
• a high refractive index layer disposed on the touch insulating layer;
• and
• a first opening and a second opening disposed in the peripheral area, wherein the first opening is disposed between the display area and the second opening,
• wherein the first monomer is disposed in the first opening and the high refractive index layer is disposed in the second opening.
