Abstract
Systems and methods for cooling a datacenter are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, a sensor string is associated with a first fluid line having a first flow controller and with a second fluid line having a second flow controller, so that sections of such a sensor string are enabled to maintain electrical connectivity there through by a mechanical coupling of a first flow controller and a second flow controller.
Claims19
A datacenter cooling system, comprising:
- a sensor string to be associated with a first fluid line having a first flow controller comprising a first electrical coupling feature and to be associated with a second fluid line having a second flow controller comprising a second electrical coupling feature to align with the first electrical coupling feature, sections of the sensor string enabled to maintain electrical connectivity there through by a mechanical coupling of the first flow controller and the second flow controller to concurrently connect the first electrical coupling feature and the second electrical coupling feature;
- and
- at least one processor to determine a leak based in part on a comparison of first signals provided to the sensor string and second signals received from the sensor string, the first signals and the second signals being associated with an alternating current voltage (ACV).
A processor comprising one or more circuits, a sensor string to be associated with a first fluid line having a first flow controller comprising a first electrical coupling feature and to be associated with a second fluid line having a second flow controller comprising a second electrical coupling feature to align with the first electrical coupling feature, sections of the sensor string enabled to maintain electrical connectivity there through by a mechanical coupling of the first flow controller and the second flow controller to concurrently connect the first electrical coupling feature and the second electrical coupling feature, the processor to determine a fluid leak of fluid through the first fluid line or the second fluid line based in part on a comparison of first signals provided to the sensor string and second signals received from the sensor string, the first signals and the second signals being associated with an alternating current voltage (ACV).
A method for datacenter cooling system, comprising:
- providing a sensor string to be associated with a first fluid line having a first flow controller comprising a first electrical coupling feature and to be associated with a second fluid line having a second flow controller comprising a second electrical coupling feature to align with the first electrical coupling feature;
- determining that sections of the sensor string are to be associated together to detect leaks for one or more cold plates;
- enabling the sections of the sensor string to maintain electrical connectivity there through by a mechanical coupling of the first flow controller and the second flow controller to concurrently connect the first electrical coupling feature and the second electrical coupling feature;
- and
- determining a leak based in part on a comparison of first signals provided to the sensor string and second signals received from the sensor string, the first signals and the second signals being associated with an alternating current voltage (ACV).
