Method of creating QoS flow for time synchronization protocol in wireless communication network

A network entity of a 5G system operating as a Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) bridge, the network entity comprising:

• a network interface;
• and a processor operably connected the network interface, wherein the processor is configured to:
• receive, by a session management function (SMF), a PDU session establishment or modification request comprising at least one of
• a data network name (DNN) or
• a single network slice selection assistance information (S-NSSAI) fora time sensitive communication (TSC) service;
• provide, by the SMF, a Session Establishment or Modification Request including QoS flow information and
• a service data function (SDF) filter information for the QoS flow for a time synchronization protocol to a User Plane Function (UPF);
• request, by the SMF, a policy control function (PCF) to set a PCCrule with at least one of the DNN or the S-NSSAI information;
• set, by the policy control function (PCF), a PCCrule for the QoS flow for the time synchronization protocol considering at least one of the DNN or the S-NSSAI;
• and
• receive, by the SMF, the PCCrule form the PCF.
