Abstract
A device may be configured to signal range extension profile information for coded video according to one or more of the techniques described herein.

A method of decoding video data, the method comprising:
- receiving general constraints information;
- decoding a first syntax element, from the general constraints information, indicating a constraint of sh_slice_type for all slices in OlsInScope;
- decoding a second syntax element indicating a number of bits;
- deriving a variable NumReservedBitsUsed;
- and
- decoding one bit syntax elements repeatedly where a number of the one bit syntax elements is a value of the second syntax element minus a value of the variable NumReservedBitsUsed.

- a memory;
- and
- a processor, wherein the processor is configured to:
- receive general constraints information;
- decode a first syntax element, from the general constraints information, indicating a constraint of sh_slice_type for all slices in OlsInScope;

- derive a variable NumReservedBitsUsed;
- and
- decode one bit syntax elements repeatedly where a number of the one bit syntax elements is a value of the second syntax element minus a value of the variable NumReservedBitsUsed.
