Antenna array having a curved configuration

A method of wireless communication performed by a first network node having an antenna system that includes an antenna array and at least one lens, comprising:

• transmitting a first signal using a first antenna of the antenna array, the antenna array having a plurality of antennas on a curved structure, each of the plurality of antennas being arranged at one of a plurality of different positions along the curved structure, wherein the curved structure is convex in a direction opposite a transmission direction, and wherein the first antenna is located at a first position on the curved structure so that the first signal has a first aperture with respect to the lens, wherein the first signal comprises a first millimeter wave signal or a first sub-Terahertz signal;
• and
• transmitting a second signal using a second antenna of the plurality of antennas, wherein the second antenna is located at a second position on the curved structure so that the second signal has a second aperture with respect to the lens, wherein the second signal comprises a second millimeter wave signal or a second sub-Terahertz signal.

A method of wireless communication performed by a first network node having an antenna system that includes an antenna array and at least one lens, comprising:

• receiving a first signal using a first antenna of the antenna array, the antenna array having a plurality of antennas on a curved structure, each of the plurality of antennas being arranged at one of a plurality of different positions along the curved structure, wherein the curved structure is convex in a direction opposite a transmission direction, and wherein the first antenna is located at a first position on the curved structure so that the first signal has a first aperture with respect to the lens, wherein the first signal comprises a first millimeter wave signal or a first sub-Terahertz signal;
• and
• receiving a second signal using a second antenna of the plurality of antennas, wherein the second antenna is located at a second position on the curved structure so that the second signal has a second aperture with respect to the lens, wherein the second signal comprises a second millimeter wave signal or a second sub-Terahertz signal.
