Electronic component and coil component

A coil component comprising:

• an element body made of a metal magnetic powder-containing resin and having a lower surface facing a mounting substrate;
• a coil disposed in the element body and covered with a first insulating coating;
• a pair of terminal electrodes provided on the lower surface of the element body;
• a pair of bump electrodes extending in a direction intersecting with the lower surface of the element body and respectively interconnecting both end portions of the coil and the pair of terminal electrodes;
• and
• a second insulating coating covering at least end portions of the pair of bump electrodes on the coil side in the element body, wherein
• each of the bump electrodes has an end face connected to the terminal electrode and a side face extending in a direction intersecting with the end face, and
• only the side face at the end portion on the lower surface side of the element body of the side face of the bump electrode is exposed from the second insulating coating.
