Wireless programmable media processing system

At least one non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a first processing unit, cause the first processing unit to perform operations to:

• generate a frame to be displayed on a graphics display based on a graphics content for an application running on a computing device using a first set of cores of the first processing unit;
• divide the frame to be displayed into a plurality of block groups;
• compress the plurality of block groups concurrently with generation of the frame to generate a plurality of compressed block groups using a first thread of a second set of cores of the first processing unit;
• and
• in parallel with compression of the plurality of block groups, send the plurality of compressed block groups to a graphics display device in a media processing system of the graphics display over a wireless link using a network interface card using a second thread of the second set of cores of the first processing unit.

A method, comprising:

• generating a frame to be displayed on a graphics display based on a graphics content for an application running on a computing device using a first set of cores of a first processing unit;
• dividing the frame to be displayed into a plurality of block groups;
• compressing the plurality of block groups concurrently with generation of the frame by the first processing unit to generate a plurality of compressed block groups using a first thread of a second set of cores of the first processing unit;
• and
• in parallel with compressing the plurality of block groups, sending the plurality of compressed block groups to a graphics display device in a media processing system of the graphics display over a wireless link using a network interface card using a second thread of the second set of cores of the first processing unit.
