Abstract
A respiratory therapy device, which may include a flow generator, is provided. The RPT device includes a touch screen display that displays user interface screens to a user and accepts input from users to control parameters and functionality of the RPT device (e.g., a flow generator).
Claims20
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium configured to store computer executable instructions for use with a processing system that includes at least one hardware processor, the stored computer executable instructions comprising instructions that cause the processing system to perform operations comprising:
- outputting, to a display for display thereon, a first pressure control user interface display screen that includes a plurality of numbers that indicate pressure values that correspond to positive pressure levels that a flow generator is configured to provide as part of positive airway pressure provided to a patient interface device;
- processing a first selection input that is provided to select a first value out of the plurality of numbers that are displayed as part of the first pressure control user interface display screen;
- outputting, to the display for display thereon, a second pressure control user interface display screen that is based on user input provided in connection with the first pressure control user interface display screen, wherein the second pressure control user interface display screen includes a plurality of incremental values that are different from the plurality of numbers and allowed to be selected;
- processing a second selection input that is provided to select one of the plurality of incremental values that are displayed as part of the second pressure control user interface display screen;
- automatically updating, based on which one of the plurality of incremental values was selected, the first value to be an adjusted value that is selected and part of the displayed first pressure control user interface display screen, the adjusted value based on a combination of the first value and the selected one of the plurality of incremental values;
- and
- instructing the flow generator to control a pressure level at which the positive airway pressure is provided to the patient interface device in accordance with the adjusted value.
A system comprising:
- a processing system comprising instructions that, when executed by at least one hardware processor included with the processing system, cause the at least one hardware processor to perform operations comprising:
- outputting, to a display for display thereon, a first pressure control user interface display screen that includes a plurality of numbers that indicate pressure values that correspond to positive pressure levels that a flow generator is configured to provide as part of positive airway pressure provided to a patient interface device;
- processing a first selection input that is provided to select a first value out of the plurality of numbers that are displayed as part of the first pressure control user interface display screen;
- outputting, to the display for display thereon, a second pressure control user interface display screen that is based on user input provided in connection with the first pressure control user interface display screen, wherein the second pressure control user interface display screen includes a plurality of incremental values that are different from the plurality of numbers and allowed to be selected;
- processing a second selection input that is provided to select one of the plurality of incremental values that are displayed as part of the second pressure control user interface display screen;
- automatically replacing, based on which one of the plurality of incremental values was selected, the first value with an adjusted value that is selected, displayed, and part of the displayed first pressure control user interface display screen, the adjusted value based on a combination of the first value and the selected one of the plurality of incremental values;
- and
- instructing the flow generator to control a pressure level at which the positive airway pressure is provided to the patient interface device in accordance with the adjusted value.
