Abstract
An analytics system is operable to receive a first plurality of query requests from a plurality of requesting entities. Query pricing scheme data is automatically generated based on the first plurality of query requests. A second plurality of query requests are received from the plurality of requesting entities. Query cost data is automatically generated for each of the second plurality of query requests by utilizing the query pricing scheme data. The query cost data for each of the second plurality of query requests is transmitted to a corresponding one of the plurality of requesting entities.
Claims20
A method for execution by an analytics system, the method comprising:
- receiving a first plurality of query requests from a plurality of requesting entities;
- automatically generating query pricing scheme data based on the first plurality of query requests;
- receiving a second plurality of query requests from the plurality of requesting entities;
- automatically generating query cost data for each of the second plurality of query requests by utilizing the query pricing scheme data;
- and
- transmitting the query cost data for each of the second plurality of query requests to a corresponding one of the plurality of requesting entities.
A query processing system of an analytics system includes:
- at least one processor;
- and
- a memory that stores operational instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the query processing system to perform operations that include:
- receive a first plurality of query requests from a plurality of requesting entities;
- automatically generate query pricing scheme data based on the first plurality of query requests;
- receive a second plurality of query requests from the plurality of requesting entities;
- automatically generate query cost data for each of the second plurality of query requests by utilizing the query pricing scheme data;
- and
- transmit the query cost data for each of the second plurality of query requests to a corresponding one of the plurality of requesting entities.
A computer readable storage medium comprises:
- at least one memory section that stores operational instructions that, when executed by a processing module that includes a processor and a memory, cause the processing module to:
- receive a first plurality of query requests from a plurality of requesting entities;
- automatically generate query pricing scheme data based on the first plurality of query requests;
- receive a second plurality of query requests from the plurality of requesting entities;
- automatically generate query cost data for each of the second plurality of query requests by utilizing the query pricing scheme data;
- and
- transmit the query cost data for each of the second plurality of query requests to a corresponding one of the plurality of requesting entities.
