Abstract
According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate including a first end portion and a second end portion located at a position different from the first end portion, a polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a light source device located above the first substrate and disposed along the first end portion, and a light-shielding member disposed on at least a part of the second end portion.

A display device, comprising:
- a display panel including:
- a first substrate;
- a second substrate opposed to the first substrate;
- a polymer dispersed liquid crystal material disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate;
- and
- a third substrate opposed to the second substrate;
- a light source device disposed along a first end portion of the display panel;
- and
- a reflective member disposed on a second end portion of the display panel opposed to the first end portion, wherein
- the display panel includes a third end portion between the first end portion and the second end portion in a plan view, and a fourth end portion opposed to the third end portion,
- the reflective member is disposed on the second end portion, the third end portion, and the fourth end portion, and
- on the second end portion side, an edge of the third substrate is located at a different position from an edge of the first substrate and an edge of the second substrate.
