Social group management system and method therefor

A method comprising:

• receiving a plurality of signals from a plurality of passive tags coupled with each animal of a plurality of animals over a period of time, each signal comprising geospatial data;
• determining spatiotemporal distribution of the plurality of animals within an observation region over a period of time based on the geospatial data from each of the plurality of passive tags;
• determining a wellness state of a subset of animals of the plurality of animals based on the spatiotemporal distribution of the plurality of animals;
• and
• updating a record database that includes information about the plurality of animals with the wellness state of the subset of animals.

A system comprising:

• a wireless input channel;
• a record database that includes information about the plurality of animals;
• a process communicatively coupled with the wireless input channel and the record database, the processor includes instructions to:
• receive a plurality of signals from a plurality of passive tags coupled with each animal of a plurality of animals over a period of time via the wireless input, each signal comprising geospatial data;
• determine spatiotemporal distribution of the plurality of animals within an observation region over a period of time based on the geospatial data from each of the plurality of passive tags;
• determine a wellness state of a subset of animals of the plurality of animals based on the spatiotemporal distribution of the plurality of animals;
• and
• updating the record database with the wellness state of the subset of animals.
