Abstract
Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a first network node receives a measurement request from a location server, the measurement request requesting the first network node to measure a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource from at least one second network node using a plurality of receive timing error groups (Rx TEGs) of the first network node, and transmits a measurement report to the location server, the measurement report including a plurality of positioning measurements based on the PRS resource, the plurality of positioning measurements corresponding to the plurality of Rx TEGs.

A method of wireless positioning performed by a first network node, comprising:
- receiving a measurement request from a location server, the measurement request requesting the first network node to measure a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource from at least one second network node using a plurality of receive timing error groups (Rx TEGs) of the first network node;
- and
- transmitting at least one measurement report to the location server, the at least one measurement report including a plurality of positioning measurements based on the PRS resource, the plurality of positioning measurements corresponding to the plurality of Rx TEGs.
A first network node, comprising:
- a memory;
- at least one transceiver;
- and
- at least one processor communicatively coupled to the memory and the at least one transceiver, the at least one processor configured to:
- receive, via the at least one transceiver, a measurement request from a location server, the measurement request requesting the first network node to measure a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource from at least one second network node using a plurality of receive timing error groups (Rx TEGs) of the first network node;
- and
- transmit, via the at least one transceiver, at least one measurement report to the location server, the at least one measurement report including a plurality of positioning measurements based on the PRS resource, the plurality of positioning measurements corresponding to the plurality of Rx TEGs.
A first network node, comprising:
- means for receiving a measurement request from a location server, the measurement request requesting the first network node to measure a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource from at least one second network node using a plurality of receive timing error groups (Rx TEGs) of the first network node;
- and
- means for transmitting at least one measurement report to the location server, the at least one measurement report including a plurality of positioning measurements based on the PRS resource, the plurality of positioning measurements corresponding to the plurality of Rx TEGs.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by a first network node, cause the first network node to:
- receive a measurement request from a location server, the measurement request requesting the first network node to measure a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource from at least one second network node using a plurality of receive timing error groups (Rx TEGs) of the first network node;
- and
- transmit at least one measurement report to the location server, the at least one measurement report including a plurality of positioning measurements based on the PRS resource, the plurality of positioning measurements corresponding to the plurality of Rx TEGs.
