Methods, wireless communications networks and infrastructure equipment

A method performed by a first infrastructure equipment forming part of a wireless communications network comprising the first infrastructure equipment and a second infrastructure equipment, the first infrastructure equipment configured to communicate with the second infrastructure equipment via a backhaul communications link, wherein the first infrastructure equipment is configured to act as a donor node connected to a core network part of the wireless communications network, the method comprising:

• receiving, from the second infrastructure equipment, information relating to a first communications path from the second infrastructure equipment to the first infrastructure equipment via a first intermediate infrastructure equipment and a second communication path via a second intermediate infrastructure equipment from the second infrastructure equipment to the first infrastructure equipment;
• and
• based on the received information, updating a communications path list by either adding the first communications path as a part of a new communications path or deleting the second communications path as a part of a previously known communications path that no longer exists.

A first infrastructure equipment forming part of a wireless communications network comprising the first infrastructure equipment and a second infrastructure equipment, the first infrastructure equipment configured to communicate with the second infrastructure equipment via a backhaul communications link, wherein the first infrastructure equipment is configured to act as a donor node connected to a core network part of the wireless communications network and comprises control circuitry and transceiver circuitry configured to:

• receive, from the second infrastructure equipment, information relating to a first communications path from the second infrastructure equipment to the first infrastructure equipment via a first intermediate infrastructure equipment and a second communication path via a second intermediate infrastructure equipment from the second infrastructure equipment to the first infrastructure equipment;
• and
• based on the received information, update a communications path list by either adding the first communications path as a part of a new communications path or deleting the second communications path as a part of a previously known communications path that no longer exists.
