Abstract
An electrical connector for a reduction drive assembly includes a connector body and a plurality of pins disposed within the connector body. The plurality of pins include one or more motor pins to conduct power to an electric motor, one or more brake pins to conduct power to an electric brake coil, and one or more sensor pins electrically connected to a sensor board for control of the electric motor.
Claims22
An electric connection assembly of a reduction drive assembly, comprising:
- an electrical compartment connected with a housing of the reduction drive assembly;
- an electrical compartment cover defining a mounting opening and removably coupled to the electrical compartment;
- and
- an electrical connector that is housed in the electrical compartment, partially extends through the mounting opening, and is mounted to the compartment cover, the electrical connector comprising:
- a connector body;
- and
- a plurality of pins disposed within the connector body and comprising:
- one or more motor pins to conduct power to an electric motor;
- one or more brake pins to conduct power to an electric brake coil;
- and
- one or more sensor pins electrically connected to a sensor board for control of the electric motor.
